The graphics cards benchmark lists now more gpus!
Since the last database rework pc-kombo knew only the current generation of graphics cards. Or at least that is how it looked: Internally there were still benchmark data for the older video cards available, but without a current offer those cards were not shown in the benchmark anymore.
Today’s update changes this:
- It enables some older gpus to be listed in the benchmark, namely the Nvidia GeForce GTX 900 series.
- It adds a bunch of gaming benchmarks to improve benchmark accuracy.
- It splits the RX 580 into a RX 580 (8GB) and a RX 580 (4GB), as well as the GTX 1060 into a GTX 1060 (6GB) and GTX 1060 (3GB) version, to properly place these most popular gpus in the benchmark.
- And finally it improves the algorithm that creates the global order out of the many benchmarks used in our meta-benchmark. That change also improves how processors are judged.
As a result, the gpu benchmark now contains more older cards that are properly rated and placed with the current cards relative to their gaming performance.
